At Bill & Charlie's Auto Repair, we work with Your Vehicle Manufacturer's Recommended Maintenance Schedule. We happily provide you with a copy of this schedule, specific for your make and model of vehicle, so that you can plan ahead for the Preventative Maintenance that will help your vehicle function properly, last longer, and stay safe. We utilize the AllData Online System, which allows us to stay up to date with any Updates to your vehicle's needs, Recall Notices, and Technical Service Bulletins specific to your vehicle.
Click on the Service Menu button to your left, and you will find a listing of the various services we offer. If you're unsure of what exactly it is that your vehicle requires, or if we can service your vehicle, simply call to speak with one of us, and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Or, if it's after our business hours, send us an email and one of us will get back with you as soon as possible. A general rule of thumb, is that if it's got 4 wheels and rolls down the road, we probably service it.
It is important to note that we work on both Foreign & Domestic Vehicles, including Cars, Minivans, Full Size Vans, Trucks, and SUVs. Call if you are unsure whether or not we perform service to your type of vehicle.
The Best Way to maintain your vehicle is to stick to a rigid Oil Change Schedule and having your oil changed by a Certified Automotive Technician. Make sure to stop in and have your Oil changed Every 3 Months or 3000 Miles, whichever comes first. That way, you can be appraised of the condition of your vehicle, detect problems before they leave you stranded on the road, and provide you peace of mind.
Oil Changes
- Drop off your car and get a ride, or wait for your scheduled oil change with a 32-point detailed visual inspection of your vehicle performed by a State Certified Auto Technician. This oil change includes Oil & Filter Replacement, Lubrication of any joints, Topping off Fluids, Tire Pressure & Adjustment, in addition to an Inspection Checklist you keep for your reference.

Used Car Inspections
- We use our 99 Point CAC inspection on any vehicle you are interested in purchasing to give you the facts on what youre buying. We arm you with the information you can use to bargain with a seller on the purchase price or to have the necessary repairs done before you buy the vehicle. This service Includes a FREE Oil Change*, even if you dont buy that specific car! Only $97! Normally a $200 Value!

We View Auto Repair as a Service, not a Commodity, and not all Auto Repair Services are created equal. To that end, in order to perform our job correctly, our expertise provides you with the following Level of Service:
- When recommending Maintenance, we follow the Vehicle Manufacturers Recommended Maintenance Schedule and supplement them with our experience and knowledge. We do not recommend maintenance or service that your vehicle doesnt require at that time.
- Diagnostics of Specific Problems are approached with knowledgeable experience that allows us to perform your Repairs with an attention to detail. We recommend replacing only those parts what will repair & support the cause of failure and provide a safer vehicle.
- We provide Expert Counsel with YOUR Best interests in mind. We tell you what problems need to be addressed, and which ones you can live with. We also inform you when its best to invest in your current vehicle, or when its better to invest in a replacement vehicle.
- Call us on the road, if you're getting a repair somewhere else and need a second opinion. Were happy to offer you counsel if youre out of town and want to ensure youre getting the best service possible.
- We provide Courtesy Rides for your Convenience. In order to make Auto Maintenance & Repair as convenient as possible, we provide rides to anywhere in the Greater Lansing area, as well as a pickup to come retrieve your vehicle when repairs are finished. We even offer this service for scheduled Oil Changes!
