I moved to town in 1984. My 1971 4 door three-on-the-tree Grenada needed help, and my housemate suggested Bill & Charlie's. Six cars later, including my second Volvo, I've never gone anywhere else.

I'm way more than happy to recommend Bill & Charlie's Auto Repair to everyone I meet.  In fact, when I get the slightest hint that someone is "looking for a mechanic," I chime in with my recommendation.

It was about 15 years ago that I had a 80's model Chevy Citation with some weird electrical problem needing attention.  So, at the recommendation of a friend, I brought it to Bill & Charlie’s.  After we did the paperwork at the front counter, Bill gave me a ride home. The ride was the start of what has become a great friendship.  Bill's sincerity and humility were refreshing and instructive for me.  He cared about my car; but, beyond that he cared about me as a person.

Later in the day I stopped by to check on the Citation.  It was in pieces, scattered around the garage.  There's something unsettling about seeing your car in fragments.  But Bill, Tim, and Bryon told me they were determined to find the source of my electrical problem. They eventually found the source, put the car back together, and sent me safely on my way.  The charge was amazingly reasonable.  And I've kept returning since. You won't find more highly trained people for your car anywhere else.  When you find that to be your experience, you'll keep returning too.

Just a shrt word to let you know how pleased I was with your recent repair work on my Volvo 240. Not only the service you performed on the oil leak from the seal but also on hte other small items that you noticed and repaired as a courtesy. It's not often that I have experienced a willingness of a business to stand behind their work as you do at Bill and Charlie's.

You recently did some work on my vehicle. I had dropped it off after hours with a list of troubles I'd been having. Brakes were not an issue. However, when I picked up my car, Brian noted that he had checked them and they were fine.

The next day as I was leaving town, a woman driving beside me decided to pull into my lane without bothering to pass me first. I had to slam on the brakes to avoid collision. My first thought was, "Boy, I'm glad you checked the brakes!" THANKS!
